BRIEF:
Design & Install a cantilevered catch & containment platform installation to be relocated progressively up the tower, providing overhead protection to enable facade pop-outs to be installed without interruption to groundworks below. The design and methodology to allow the scaffold to be launched, retracted and relocated in the shortest possible time to support program continuity.

FEATURES:

• Cantilevered Catch Platform Area – 5m x 33m with 5kPa load rating
• Tracks fixed to slab to guide travel on 30kN profiled steel wheels.
• Platform assembled from mobile trusses craned between levels via the loading platforms.
• Time to launch or retract the platform was 1 hour approximately.
