Sydney Harbour Bridge – Main Span Cross Girder Painting
Brief
Design & Install suspended encapsulation scaffold installations to facilitate preparation and painting of the main span cross girders. The design and methodology to ensure no obstruction to the travel of the main span gantry, and to allow the scaffolds to be readily relocated from cross girder to cross girder.
Features
- Each scaffold is 50m long x 7m wide x 3m high
- 84 suspension chain assemblies per scaffold
- Access onto scaffolds from bridge catwalks
